PostPosted: Sat 2:57, 04 May 2013    Post subject: Easily Convert PVR files to Windows Movie Maker

PVR, short for Personal Video Recorder, similar to VCR, is a video recorder without cassette. It’s quite environmental friendly for it stores files with a built-in hard-disk drive rather than a cassette, so that you can save money from the recording carrier, and if you don’t want the programs to leave, you can simple delete it with the PVR. People need no longer upset about the missing programs as long as you preset the PVR to record the exact program.

Many people may encounter this problem: after recording, you want to play those PVR files in your PC, or edit it in the Windows Movie Maker, but you can’t even load the files into the device. Why? That is because of the different decoding. Whatever your PC, or Windows Movie Maker doesn’t support the PVR files. so you need to do here is to convert the PVR to another compatible format for Windows Movie Maker.

Then you may need iOrgsoft PVR Video Converter(video file converter Mac) to do the conversion. It’s an easy-to-use video converter that enables you to transfer formats between videos or audios, even between videos and audios! Such as, to convert M4A to WMA, orMP4 to iTunes.

Now you can follow the steps below to edit pvr in windows movie maker:

1. Import the PVR files to the Converter
To get ready, you need to download the program and have it installed. Then run it to standby. After that, you can load your PVR files by clicking the “Add Files” button. You can also do the batch converting if necessary.

2. Choose an output format for Windows Movie Maker
In this step, you should choose the compatible format with Windows Movie Maker. You can choose the output format in the “Convert to” bar and choose “Win Application” → “Movie Maker(*.avi)” .

3. Start converting PVR to Windows Movie Maker
Lastly, click the “Convert” button to start converting. When it finishes, find your processed files by hitting the “Open” option in the low-right corner of the interface.
